Concern for its employees’ access to timely medical tests led local Scarborough company Scepter Corporation to donate $100,000 to The Scarborough Hospital Foundation’s MRI Campaign. “Most of our employees live in Scarborough, and we thought it was a fitting thing to do,” explains Robert Torokvei, President of Scepter Corp., which designs and manufactures moulded plastic products that are shipped all over the world out of two Scarborough locations. Corporate donations like Scepter’s are key to successful fundraising for The Scarborough Hospital Foundation. “Corporate and cultural leaders set a tone that is critical for success. We are grateful that Scepter understands the importance of this and has made a generous investment in the health of our community,” says Michael Mazza, President & CEO of The Scarborough Hospital Foundation.
